Fit: Runs big. Go down one size for true to size fit. Also check the size chart to make the best judgement based off your own measurements.

Commentary: I personally like the fitting of a small top and baggy bottom. So, I got a medium bottom even though a size small would have been my true to size fit. If my measurements are close to yours a medium bottom will not be fitted or fit true to size. It will have a looser fit. Your best bet is to size down if you really want it fitted. And that's not to say a looser fit looks bad and a fitted fit looks the best. It all depends on your preference and in this case for sweatpants not for leggings or undergarments that we typically want fitted or true to size.
